Bruno Guimaraes has just delivered a four-word update that Eddie Howe will absolutely love

The international break is over, and Newcastle United’s South American stars are on their way back to Tyneside.

Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton have been representing Brazil over the past week, while Miguel Almiron has won another two caps for Paraguay.

They have travelled long distances to represent their countries, at a time when Eddie Howe probably wishes he had every single Toon player at the club’s training ground.

Newcastle are back in action on Saturday evening, when they face Brentford at St James’ Park in the Premier League. Then just a few days later the Magpies are off to Italy to face AC Milan in their Champions League opener.

It is going to be a very busy few weeks for Newcastle, at a time when it is vital that Howe’s side get back to winning ways. And that is why the Toon boss will be delighted with the latest update from Bruno’s social media channels.

Newcastle trio on their way back to the North East
The 25-year-old has uploaded a picture to Twitter and Instagram of him travelling back to Newcastle. But he is not alone – he is alongside his friends and Toon teammates Joelinton and Almiron.

Alongside the picture, Bruno wrote: “Going back to Newcastle.”

The South American trio are on their way to Tyneside as fast as they can, which is a big boost for Howe as he prepares his side for Brentford.

With Bruno, Joelinton and Almiron due back relatively quick, it should allow them to train at least once before this weekend’s huge game.

They will all be eager to start against Brentford, but whether that happens remains to be seen. Bruno is a guaranteed starter, but Joelinton and Almiron have not necessarily been at their best in a Newcastle shirt as of late.

However, they will get the chance in training later this week to show that they deserve to retain their place in the starting XI for what is going to be a huge game at St James’ Park.
