While on patrol, a traffic officer discovers a Wrexham AFC season ticket.

A Wrexham AFC season ticket has been picked up by a traffic officer ahead of the club’s home fixture this weekend. The Dragons face Grimsby Town as another bumper crowd is set to descend on the Racecourse Ground for the League Two clash.

But unfortunately one supporter could be set to miss out. According to Traffic Wales, a traffic officer found the lost ticket whilst on patrol in the Wrexham area.

Traffic Wales North & Mid posted on their Twitter page: “Lost and Found Alert! Have you lost your Wrexham season ticket?

“Our traffic officers have found a season ticket whilst on patrol this morning in the Wrexham area. Anyone out there missing it, or did I just score the ultimate season pass?”

If the season ticket belongs to you then simply head over to @trafficwalesn on Twitter and send them a private message. The Dragons have been in fine form recently, having avoided defeat in the league since the opening-day loss to MK Dons.

Since then the Reds have gone from strength to strength, climbing into the play offs. Another capacity crowd of over 10,000 is set to attend tomorrow’s game (3pm kick-off) and traffic officers hope that the owner of the season ticket will come forward in order to be able to attend.
