Wolves let slip a one-goal lead to lose to Liverpool in their fifth Premier League game of the season.
There is plenty for Gary O’Neil to think about, after he saw his side put in an outstanding performance in the first-half at Molineux, but ultimately lose 3-1.
Hwang Hee-chan opened the scoring, and Wolves were superb until the break.
Wanderers shipped three goals in the second-half.
The game could have been so different had Wolves taken one more chance when they were on top. Matheus Cunha had a glorious chance to double the lead.
Wolves need their attackers to be more clinical.
And one man who could definitely be that at times for Wolves was Diogo Jota – who sent a rather classy message on social media after yesterday’s game.

Jota started for Liverpool in yesterday’s game.
It wasn’t a particularly good display from the Portuguese.
But he did play a part in the equaliser for Liverpool, playing in Mo Salah who crossed for Cody Gakpo.
Jota is still well thought of by a lot of Wolves fans, after leaving the club to join Liverpool for £45 million in 2020.
And it’s clear Wolves still holds a place in the 26-year-old’s heart.
He posted on Instagram after the game yesterday saying: “Massive to win after internationals. Always special to return to Molineux.”
Wolves miss Jota
It is fairly safe to say that Wolves have missed Jota since he left the club.
While he was not always consistent during his time at Molineux, there was always a chance that he could pop up with a goal or an assist.
Wolves have had forwards since him who have really struggled to find the back of the net regularly.
Daniel Podence and Pedro Neto should have scored more goals than they have over the years.
Ditto Adama Traore when he was at the club, and Hwang Hee-chan probably also should have chipped in with a few more.
