Wanya Marcal-Madivadua sends a 10 word message to Enzo Maresca

Leicester City’s young talent, Wanya Marcal-Madivadua, has sent a clear message to Enzo Maresca, expressing his readiness to rejoin the first team. Despite having featured twice in the Championship for the Foxes this season and participating in the first two Carabao Cup fixtures, the 20-year-old has temporarily returned to the under-21 squad. However, he’s poised to step back up when called upon.

Speaking about his current season, Marcal-Madivadua acknowledged that it’s “going well” but admitted he isn’t receiving as much playing time as he would prefer. Nevertheless, he affirmed his readiness to respond to Maresca’s call.

“It’s going well,” Marcal-Madivadua stated in an interview with LCFC.com. “I’ve achieved more than I expected. The entire pre-season with the first team, scoring a goal at King Power Stadium in front of all the fans – it’s been a fantastic experience. I enjoy training with the first team every day.

“Currently, I might not be getting as much game time as I’d like, but I’m content playing with the Under-21s, maintaining my sharpness and fitness. I’m giving my best for them. When Enzo gives me the call, I hope to be fully prepared.”

He also highlighted the positive impact his journey has on his under-21 teammates, saying, “I think it gives them a massive push to see someone they’ve trained with and played alongside for their entire careers up until now making it to the first team and becoming part of the first team squad. It’s a great inspiration for them, showing that it’s possible for them to achieve the same. They just need to persevere, and their opportunity will come too.”
