Good news: AC Milan plan contract renewal talks with two key players amid interest from clubs

According to reports, AC Milan is aware that two of their defenders are receiving interest from abroad and are arranging contract discussions with both.

According to Pietro Mazzara’s latest for MilanNews, no contract negotiations are presently underway with Theo Hernandez and his entourage regarding his contract, which expires in 2026.

This is despite PSG and Manchester United’s interest, as revealed yesterday. Theo already earns €4 million net per season, and his contract was extended until the end of 2021, although his situation is expected to be reconsidered later by the Milan management.

Meanwhile, West Ham has set their sights on Malick Thiaw, but the German center-back will soon be the subject of discussions to increase his wage (which is presently less than a million euros) and to further safeguard him given his starting role.

Milan’s defensive consistency has been crucial to their successful league start, and there is a clear desire to safeguard the important players in the backline.
