Hull City make transfer decision over highly-rated striker

Jim Simms, a highly touted Hull City striker, has joined Darlington on loan until November 19 and might make his debut this weekend against Banbury in the National League North.

The North East club are desperate for goals and have turned to the 19-year-old frontman to solve their difficulties in front of goal and keep them out of danger over the next month as they seek their first league victory at the 13th attempt.

“This is an excellent opportunity for Jim to play consistently in men’s football.” He had a taste of men’s football last year with a brief loan spell at Buxton and also at Oldham Athletic before to his move here.

“He has excelled in Under-21 games consistently for over a year and this is the next step in his development to get senior games of football under his belt,” Conor Sellars, the team’s head coach, stated.
