Newcastle United have received a significant injury boost ahead of today’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace at St James’ Park (kick-off 3pm).
Joelinton, a Brazilian midfielder, has missed the previous two games against PSG and West Ham United due to a hamstring injury suffered less than five minutes after coming on as a substitute against Burnley at home.
Head coach Eddie Howe confirmed at Friday’s press conference that he was “confident” Joelinton will be involved for the visit of Palace. And the 27-year-old’s comeback has now been confirmed by him, who posted a personalised matchday grhapic on his Instagram account this morning.
