All of the newest Newcastle United transfer rumors, including Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid and Javi Guerra of Valencia.
Ceballos claim
Sandro Tonali’s potential suspension has led to rumors of several midfielders being considered for a mid-season transfer to St James’ Park. Newcastle, who had to be cautious about Financial Fair Play during the summer, may need to come up with innovative solutions to fill the void if the former AC Milan star is indeed sidelined.
One intriguing possibility that has surfaced is the connection to Dani Ceballos, the Real Madrid midfielder who spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal. The Spanish international has demonstrated his versatility as a valuable squad player under Carlo Ancelotti, as he filled various roles in the previous season.
Nonetheless, this former Arsenal loanee has only made four substitute appearances this season, as Real Madrid boasts numerous midfield options. Reports suggest that Newcastle is willing to test the La Liga giants’ determination to retain the 27-year-old by offering around £17 million in January.
Guerra scouted
According to 90min, Ceballos may not be Newcastle’s only current interest in La Liga. The Magpies are among the Premier League clubs that have recently scouted Valencia youngster Javi Guerra, along with Arsenal, Tottenham, and West Ham.
The 20-year-old was a bit-part player last season but has started this season strongly. Guerra has three goals and one assist in the league thus far.
The four Premier League clubs named above are alleged to have had scouts in attendance for Spain’s under-21s close win against Scotland last month. Barcelona and Manchester United have also been connected with the player in the past.
