Breaking news: The Rams Plot Move To Sign ‘Experienced’ Star

The Los Angeles Rams officially benched Brett Maher this week following his three missed field goals in the team’s 24–17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, therefore they are looking for a replacement kicker. And it appears that the group is thinking about replacing him with a seasoned NFL veteran.

In an effort to find their next starting kicker, the Los Angeles Rams worked out a group of free agent kickers on Wednesday. And one of those guys was veteran kicker Mason Crosby of the Green Bay Packers, according to a report from NFL Network league insider Mike Garafolo.

“Sources claim that the #Rams are working out a number of kickers today, including Mason Crosby, a former fixture of the #Packers. Up until this point in his 16-year career, Crosby had lived in Green Bay. Kicking in a different uniform is a possibility for the first time, Garafolo stated in a post on X, the social networking platform that was formerly known as Twitter.
