Mbappé Passion for Milan Resurfaces Ahead of UCL Clash

Although Kylian Mbappé was raised to support the Rossoneri jersey, it appears doubtful that the Frenchman would stick with Paris Saint-Germain and Milan in the group of death.

Despite having grown up cheering for the Rossoneri, Kylian Mbappé is unlikely to take the match lightly given that Paris Saint-Germain and Milan are in the same group. However, Mbappé’s mother and close associates have disclosed how much he loved Milan when he was younger. In a lengthy interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato), Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari, discussed the player in-depth, along with friends.

Kylian Mbappé

“Kylian informed me that, towards the end of his career, Milan was a part of his ambitions. Sadly, he was kidding. One of Mbappé’s first coaches and friends, Antonio Riccardi, stated, “Nobody or almost no one can afford him now.” He went on, “I used to impose on him all the league matches.” It was a great party, the one for the 18th Scudetto, as I recall. However, I used to make fun of him by saying he reminded me of Dida. I was ten years older than him, but even at five, he was stronger than me. Being his coach was enjoyable, and he would score when he made the decision to win. He truly loves football.

Lamari revealed the frustrations Mbappé possessed whenever Milan lost.

“He is the son of sportsmen, but he was immersed in cheering for Milan right from the start. When he came home, he would only talk about Milan. If Milan lost, he could throw the remote control at the TV and curse in Italian. If they had told us fifteen years ago that he would be the star of PSG-Milan we would never have believed it. Instead, that’s exactly what happened.”
