‘Huge blow’ Gary O’Neil reveals fresh injury blow ahead of ‘big test’ against Newcastle United

Wolves are facing an injury setback as they prepare for their upcoming match against Newcastle United. Midfielder Joe Hodge will be unavailable for the game due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. Wolves manager Gary O’Neil shared this unfortunate news with the media, also providing an update on Jean Bellegarde’s fitness. He indicated that Bellegarde is unlikely to start the game this weekend as he hasn’t had a full week of training. O’Neil mentioned, “Hodgey had persistent issues with his shoulder dislocating during training sessions, which led us to opt for surgery to address the problem. It will be some time before he can return to action.” Regarding Jean Bellegarde, O’Neil mentioned that he is progressing well, but with his limited training time, it’s unlikely he will play the full 90 minutes.
