Breaking News:Reasons Why Carlos Corberan Compared Players,But He Will Be One Of The New Player For January Squad

Daryl Dike will be like a new addition to West Brom when he returns in January after his long-term injury, according to Carlos Corberan.

beyond suffering his third serious injury since joining The Hawthorns, the American striker has not played this season. The 23-year-old is not likely to play for the Baggies again until beyond Christmas, having ruptured his Achilles in April.

The management of the Albion team has equated Corberan’s return to that of a new January arrival rather than a return from injury, citing the financial difficulties that The Hawthorns is currently experiencing and the lack of investment made in the team during the summer transfer window.

He stated, “The same process, he’s very committed with the club,” as reported by the Express & Star on October 16. Despite his strong dedication to his recuperation, his ailment is somewhat chronic, therefore I don’t think we’ll see him on the field before January.

“We will add to the squad in the January market, and he will be one of the new players.

Since moving to the Midlands with the Baggies, Dike has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to his fitness. The strong forward has never been able to go more than a few months without suffering a serious injury.

Hopefully, he can finally put his recent struggles behind him and find the form that made him so lethal in England’s second tier with Barnsley during his loan spell from Orlando City when he returns to first-team play.

Supporters of West Brom should also take heart in the fact that Corberan appears confident the Baggies will bolster their roster in January. Ideally, this would involve some true new arrivals rather than a plethora of injured players.

Over the summer, The Hawthorns saw very little in the way of incoming business. The former Huddersfield Town manager was limited to working with loans and free agents, adding just three players to the roster without spending a single euro spent.

Despite their lack of funding, Corberan’s team has had a strong start to the season. With Dike and a few other returning players plus a few excellent acquisitions in January, there is no reason the Baggies can’t compete for play-off spots once more.
