Chalobah had a somewhat shaky first half, but the traveling supporters continued to cheer him on during the match on October 30. Cox conveyed on Twitter, “Haji Wright missed a one-on-one opportunity for Coventry. Thomas-Asante replaced Chalobah, who was walking a fine line with a yellow card. The away end responded with applause.” Bringing Thomas-Asante into the game proved to be a wise decision by Corberan, as it wasn’t Chalobah’s best performance.

The 24-year-old substitute injected more energy into the game, providing West Brom with better control of possession. West Brom was fortunate that Coventry squandered several opportunities to score during the match.

If Corberan’s team manages to secure three points, they will climb into the top six, a favorable position after 14 games. Despite the challenges they’ve faced this summer, having lost only three games is a commendable achievement for the Baggies.

The outcome of the match is uncertain, and it promises to be a tense and exciting conclusion.
