TalkSPORT pundit believes Howe will start ‘amazing’ star for Newcastle united tonight

Newcastle United is expected to include Lewis Hall in their starting lineup for the Carabao Cup match against Manchester United on Wednesday evening, as suggested by TalkSPORT pundit Micky Gray. Gray noted that the 19-year-old talent is one of several players who could feature in the Magpies’ starting XI. In preparation for the upcoming important Premier League clash with Arsenal over the weekend, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe is likely to make some alterations to the starting lineup.

Lewis Hall is a strong contender to be included in the starting XI, having shown impressive performance in training after facing disruptions during the preseason at his previous club. Eddie Howe expressed his admiration for the young player during a pre-match press conference, highlighting his versatility as an asset that Newcastle will require.

Micky Gray also pointed out that due to injury concerns within the team, there may be several changes to the starting lineup. He mentioned players like Botman, Harvey Barnes, and Isak, who are expected to be absent. This provides an opportunity for fringe players like Lewis Hall, who previously played for Chelsea, as well as Matt Targett and Paul Dummett, who haven’t seen much playing time. These players are likely to get a chance to prove themselves in this match, considering the busy schedule Newcastle faces in the coming week.

Lewis Hall looks like an exciting talent for Newcastle

In August, Newcastle agreed to a loan agreement with Hall’s Chelsea, with the option to purchase the player for up to £35 million.

The St. James’ Park team will pay the Blues £28 million at the end of the season-long loan, with an additional £7 million possible, according to Sky Sports.

Hall has so far made two appearances for the Magpies: one as a substitute in the Premier League and one as a starter in the Carabao Cup.

At St. James’ Park, the “amazing” talent has been settling in, and Howe has established a reputation for allowing players to develop rather than pushing them into the deep end.

With the Red Devils, hopefully, we’ll get to see Hall right away. He should be much sharper than he was against Man City.
