Newcastle should move fast to sign Callum Wilson’s potential replacement, he’s the ‘next Neymar’

The fact that Marcos Leonardo is attracting interest is interesting since it is evident that Newcastle United will need to buy a striker in 2024.

According to reports from Brazil, Newcastle has reached out to Santos regarding the signing of the 20-year-old forward, who UOL reports is expected to be available for between £17.5 million and £22 million.

Although it is a significant sum of money for someone who has never played outside of Brazil, it is a minor price to pay for someone who has the potential to be Newcastle’s line leader for the ensuing ten years.

Newcastle has to sign a replacement for Callum Wilson quickly.

Newcastle only has one senior striker that is fully fit at this time.

 

Due to a groin ailment, Alexander Isak will not be playing until after the international break  Only Callum Wilson, a player who has battled injuries  throughout his Toon career, remains for Eddie Howe.
