That said, Stafford is currently listed as questionable, with the Rams planning to allow Stafford up until kickoff before making a final decision on his status for the game. Should Stafford be unable to go vs. Green Bay backup Bretty Rypien would get the start. The Rams will enter their bye week following the matchup with the Packers.

The team announced that it is activating quarterback Dresser Winn from the practice squad, which could be an indication that Matthew Stafford will miss Sunday’s game with a thumb injury. NOV 1 STAFFORD OUT OF PRACTICE According to head coach Sean McVay, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford did not participate in practice on Wednesday, as he continues to recover from a thumb injury he suffered vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. McVay was clear that Stafford remains day-to-day in his recovery, and that he has not been ruled out for the team’s trip to Lambeau to take on the Green Bay Packers.
