Carlos Corberan Identifies Difference Maker In West Brom Squad

Grady Diangana is the “special star” of West Bromwich Albion, according to manager Carlos Corberan, who praised the player for his recent efforts.

The Congolese attacker played just seven minutes in the first seven games of the season and wasn’t even included in the starting lineup for the first four. But since the club has been beset by injuries in the offensive department, he has discovered that he is getting consistent playing time and is contributing to the team’s improved performance.

West Brom has won five of their last eight games since his return to the team, losing just once on the road against Birmingham City. They have now won three straight games, and Diangana has contributed two goals and two assists to the victory.

“Diangana is a very special player who has the ability to change the outcome of the Championship when he commits to the circumstance. Speaking to the Express & Star, Corberan stated.

He said, “We are very happy to see him scoring goals like he did last week and providing an assist. It’s crucial that the players in attack have an impact and produce, and he is now figuring out how to do this.”

According to Baggies manager Corberan, he now believes he has the attacker in the ideal position, and he has made enough of an impression in his minutes to maintain his starting position.

“He was playing more to the left when we first came here, but it looks like he’s playing better to the right today.

Additionally, he has been able to play more minutes because of the injuries we suffered during the onslaught.

“He is making excellent use of these minutes and demonstrating the true level at which he must perform.”

West Brom is once again vying for play-off spots, currently sitting sixth in the Championship table. Before the international break, they play Southampton, who are currently in fourth position.

Writer’s View

It’s debatable whether West Brom has one of the top teams and managers in the league. They have a manager in Carlos Corberan who has expertise advancing clubs into the playoffs—he did that with Huddersfield Town in the past.

They have one of the top players in the Championship on his day in Grady Diangana. With 112 games in the second tier while at West Brom, he has expertise at this level as well. The West Midlands squad may be a contender for promotion this season if he can keep up his offensive output and the return of another offensive danger.
