he Tennessee Titans have decided to make a move on the defensive side of the ball at the end of their long weekend after their last Thursday night game. They are releasing defensive tackle Naquan Jones, as reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media.
Jones has been part of the Titans since he entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Michigan State in 2021. This season, he saw action in 20 percent of the team’s defensive snaps and 10 percent of special teams snaps, contributing eight total tackles.
Over the course of his 32 career games, including seven starts, Jones has accumulated 3.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, and five quarterback hits. He was playing on an exclusive rights free agent tender for the 2023 season.
