Miami Dolphins’ De’Von Achane Nearing Return

The standout running back for the Dolphins was placed on injured reserve following a knee injury sustained in Week 5. Achane will have some extra time to heal as the team prepares for a bye week. Although McDaniel didn’t explicitly state that Achane will return for the Raiders game on November 19, he did make a suggestion in that direction.

“No setbacks,” McDaniel said when asked about Achane. “So, we’ll see.”

When inquired about De’Von Achane’s status, McDaniel expressed optimism, stating that there haven’t been any setbacks. He acknowledged that it’s important to take things one day at a time and make a more definitive decision as needed. The Dolphins are planning to activate Achane next Wednesday in preparation for their game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Achane’s return is eagerly anticipated since he had scored seven touchdowns and gained 460 rushing yards in just four games before his injury. Although the Dolphins had Salvon Ahmed and Jeff Wilson Jr. to rely on during Achane’s absence, his return will significantly bolster the team’s offense, particularly after their Week 9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

As the Miami Dolphins head into their bye week, they currently sit atop the AFC East, emphasizing the importance of returning well-rested and fully prepared for the second half of the season.
