The Miami Dolphins, already boasting one of the most dynamic offenses in the league, have heightened their potential by activating rookie RB De’Von Achane from the Injured Reserve (IR) list. Head Coach Mike McDaniel, as reported by Ian Rapoport, has confirmed the opening of the 21-day practice window for Achane, signaling his potential return to the field.

The third-round pick had been sidelined for the past four games due to a knee injury sustained in their Week 5 victory over the New York Giants. Achane had showcased an impressive performance from Week 3 to Week 5, making him a strong contender for Offensive Rookie of the Year. During this period, he set a remarkable record with an average of 12.3 yards per carry, accumulating 455 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, he contributed 63 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Despite a recent tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, with the Las Vegas Raiders next on their schedule, the Dolphins could benefit from Achane’s return if he recovers in time. In his absence, veteran RB Raheem Mostert has excelled, leading the league with 11 rushing touchdowns.

Achane’s comeback promises to enhance the Dolphins’ already-explosive offense, providing a versatile one-two punch to complement star wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the passing game. This development adds excitement for fans and fantasy football owners alike, as the team looks poised to become even more challenging for opponents to contain.
