The fact that Olivier Giroud was sent off for disobedience against Lecce on Saturday suggests that AC Milan is having more and more discipline issues this season.
Milan is getting a remarkably high number of red cards this season, as La Gazzetta dello Sport has noted.
With four players dismissed in their first 12 Serie A games, the Rossoneri have now seen one red card every three games on average.
They were Mike Maignan against Genoa, Malick Thiaw against Juventus, Giroud against Lecce, and Fikayo Tomori against AS Roma.
Stefano Pioli could also do without the bans, considering the number of ailments he has to deal with.
Only two teams have received more bookings than Milan. Milan now has 32, Juventus has 33, and Lecce has 36.
With six bookings thus far, Theo Hernandez leads Serie A, indicating that Milan has to improve their discipline.
