Breaking News:Toronto Raptors confirmed late injury as fantastic player now ruled out vs Bucks

Dennis Schroder Pops Up on Injury Report for Raptors Ahead of Bucks Game

The Toronto Raptors have listed Dennis Schroder as questionable to play Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Suddenly the Toronto Raptors may be down three key players as they get set to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

Not only are OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. listed as doubtful to play, but Dennis Schröder has popped up as questionable with right knee soreness, the team announced.

Schröder appeared to injure himself in the fourth quarter of Monday’s game against the Washington Wizards. He didn’t do much in Tuesday’s practice, Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said, though he was “feeling better.”

During shootaround Wednesday, Schröder was only seen talking to Rajakovic and did not appear to be taking part in team activities.

Anunoby appears to be the most unlikely to play as he continued to do drills Wednesday without his right hand. He is battling a laceration to his right hand and his return does not appear imminent.

Trent does seem a little closer to returning as he was doing more intense shooting during the open-to-media portion of shootaround. He appears unlikely for Wednesday, but it shouldn’t be too much longer.

If all three cannot go, Toronto is going to be quite thin in the backcourt and it wouldn’t be surprising if Markquis Nowell gets some playing time. He was active for Toronto’s last game and could be tabbed for backup point guard duties behind Malachi Flynn if Schröder can’t go.

Chris Boucher, Precious Achiuwa, Otto Porter Jr., Gradey Dick, and potentially Jalen McDaniels or possibly Garrett Temple are all likely to play if Toronto is shorthanded.

Giannis Antetokounmpo remains probable for the Bucks while Jae Crowder and Chris Livingston are both out.
