The Los Angeles Rams has confirmed official date to begin practice at new ground

After seven years in Southern California, the Los Angeles Rams are finally on the verge of commencing construction on a permanent practice facility and team headquarters in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles. The Rams anticipate starting practice at the new facility in the 2024 season, but the establishment of permanent structures, including meeting spaces, coaching offices, and the front office headquarters, is anticipated to take an additional 3-5 years.

During this transitional period, the team will utilize portable trailers, reminiscent of their current setup at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, situated approximately 30 miles west of the new site. Following their return to Los Angeles in 2016, the Rams played four seasons at the Los Angeles Coliseum before moving to the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium in Inglewood for the 2020 season. SoFi Stadium is located 28 miles away from the upcoming team headquarters.

Rams Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff expressed the team’s mission to not only create SoFi Stadium as the world’s premier sports and entertainment district but also to build the most exceptional practice facility and sports/entertainment development around it. Rams owner Stan Kroenke, since 2022, has acquired two shopping malls and an office complex with adjoining property in Woodland Hills, forming the location for the new practice facility and team headquarters.
