Jaire Alexander of the Green Bay Packers returned to practice on Thursday after missing the previous day due to a shoulder ailment. Green Bay is hoping to have him back in time for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers (3-6).

Last week, youngster Corey Valentine took his position and performed admirably. Getting Alexander back, on the other hand, would be a huge boost for this defense. The Packers will not practice in pads on Thursday. On Wednesday, they also did not practice in pads.

The Los Angeles Chargers have one of the top pass offenses in the NFL this season, which is why they need Jaire Alexander back this weekend. This season, Justin Herbert has passed for 2,349 yards and 17 touchdowns with the Los Angeles Rams.

By far the most difficult test the Packers’ defense will face this season.

Green Bay Packers Jaire Alexander Has Struggled to Be on the Field This Season

Alexander has only appeared in five of the Packers’ nine games this season. If he is able to play against the Chargers on Sunday, it will be only his sixth game of the season. Jaire Alexander has 22 tackles and four pass deflections in four games played this season.

This weekend, Green Bay might need him again. It will be fascinating to see if he plays because he must practice on Friday before maybe playing on Sunday. In addition, the Chargers have one of their primary wide receivers, Keenan Allen, on the injured list. On Wednesday, he did not practice. Jalen Guyton is one of the receivers to watch for Alexander to guard this weekend if he is available. A healthy Jaire Alexander means the Packers have a greater chance of beating the Chargers at home, despite their 3-6 record.
