Raptors confirmed injury woe with two super stars now ruled out of……

The Toronto Raptors will be without Otto Porter Jr. and Thad Young in their upcoming game against the Boston Celtics on Friday. Porter is dealing with personal reasons, while Young is sidelined due to illness. This adds to the Raptors’ challenges, as OG Anunoby is listed as doubtful due to a right index finger laceration. On a positive note, Gary Trent Jr. is expected to return after missing three games with right foot plantar fasciitis. Despite Young’s absence having a limited impact on Toronto’s rotation, Porter’s valuable contributions will be missed.

The Raptors may increase Gradey Dick’s playing time in search of three-point threats with Anunoby out, and bench players like Jalen McDaniels, Precious Achiuwa, Chris Boucher, and Malachi Flynn are likely to see extended minutes. Meanwhile, the Celtics have Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis listed as questionable, with Al Horford probable for the game.
