Breaking news:Just In Boston Celtics welcome two stars

**Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis Available for Celtics Friday Night**

Following their absence in Wednesday’s victory against the Philadelphia 76ers, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis are set to return to action against the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.

Initially listed as questionable due to a non-COVID illness (Brown) and a right knee contusion (Porzingis), both starters have been declared available for the upcoming game. Al Horford, who had a sprained toe, is also expected to play as he was listed as probable.

In the previous game, Horford showcased his defensive prowess with five blocks, compensating for Porzingis’ absence. The Celtics displayed offensive resilience, with Derrick White scoring 27 points and Jrue Holiday adding 18, complementing Jayson Tatum’s team-high 29 points.

Brown and Porzingis, integral offensive contributors, typically play crucial roles, ranking second (22.9 points per game) and third (19.7 points per game) in team scoring, respectively. Porzingis additionally leads the Celtics in blocks per game with 1.3.

With the trio back in action, the Celtics look to be at full strength for a demanding stretch of three games in four days. The series starts against the Toronto Raptors at 7:40 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, followed by matchups with the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday and the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
