Matthew Stafford set to return vs Seahawks
Stafford is likely to play in Week 11, giving the offense a significant boost. Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua haven’t been able to repeat their usual output without Stafford in the lineup, but having their star quarterback back on the field could improve their play.
Stafford’s comeback comes at an ideal time for a Rams team fighting to keep their slim playoff aspirations alive. The Rams are 3-6 on the season, but a win over the Seattle Seahawks may launch a run for the NFC’s last wild card spot.
With Stafford back in the game after recuperating from a thumb injury, the Rams have a much better chance against a solid Seahawks defense. We’ll keep you updated on any new injuries or status changes, but Stafford is expected to return this week, according to McVay.
