According to his teammate Luciano Acosta, Wolves defender Yerson Mosquera has had a ‘great’ season with FC Cincinnati.

The Colombia international made headlines this weekend after scoring a late winner for his loan club, Philadelphia Union, in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

According to Cincinnati’s official website, the 1-0 game was a “slugfest” that was ultimately settled by a goal from Mosquera, who was in the right place at the right time.

He believes the young South American has been a wonderful signing for the club since his arrival in January. “I gave him some motivation,” he told the Cincinnati Enquirer. I chatted to him before the game. I told him that if he didn’t have a yellow card, he could contribute, possibly in the goals.
