Team news for Paris Saint-Germain vs. Newcastle United: Paris Saint-Germain have begun practicing in preparation for Tuesday’s Champions League encounter against Newcastle United at Parc des Princes (8 p.m. kick-off).
While Newcastle will go to France with a substantially depleted squad, featuring 13 players ruled out and one huge worry, PSG has also acknowledged a number of injury concerns. According to a Monday medical update, Manrquinhos, Warren Zaire-Emery, Nuno Mendes, Presnel Kimpembe, and Keylor Navas are all out of the match. Last month, Marquinhos and Zaire-Emery began in Newcastle’s 4-1 defeat at St James’ Park.
According to PSG, “Marquinhos is continuing to follow a tailor-made recovery programme after suffering a minor injury to his right hamstring.”
“Since spraining his right ankle, Warren Zare-Emery has been working alongside the club’s medical staff.” Nuno Mendes is still following his treatment plan.
“Presnel Kimpembe is gradually returning to team training.” Keylor Navas is continuing his recovery program after experiencing lower back soreness.”

Tuesday’s encounter is critical for both teams, as Newcastle needs to win to keep their chances of progressing alive, while PSG needs to win to potentially confirm their spot in the last-16.
“There are few matches left in a very complicated group with a very tight ranking,” PSG manager Luis Enrique stated ahead of the match. We’re going to treat this game like a championship.”
