Bradford city boss delivers a stunning message after win against Forest Green Rovers

Graham Alexander was pleased with his Bantams’ 3-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday.

Alexander was pleased with how his team adapted to the alterations FGR put at them in order to come back into the game after going into the half two goals up.

“We had to continue where we left off from in the last game,” he told reporters.

“The goal was to put pressure on the opponent, and we succeeded.”

“We expected them to come at us in the second half after taking a two-goal lead into halftime.”

“After their changes, we had to figure out what they were doing in terms of formation.”

“Once we figured it out, we were able to control where they had the ball.” Harry (Lewis) also made some crucial saves.

“It was a great win on Saturday, and another one again tonight.”

The Bantams manager was quick to congratulate the roughly 300 City fans who made the long journey tonight, expressing gratitude that their efforts were rewarded on the field.

“We get looked after well by the club when we come on these long away days, with hotels and overnight stays,” he said.

“Our supporters may finish work an hour early and drive an hour to come and support us.”

“The least we can do is show every single supporter who does that that we are doing everything we can to send them back smiling.”

“We were delighted with the support and delighted we were able to reward that with our performance on the pitch.”
