On November 29, three-time Pro Bowl receiver DeSean Jackson announced his retirement on his 37th birthday. Jackson concluded his 15-year career with the Baltimore Ravens last season, and he will sign an honorary contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, his original and longest-tenured NFL team. Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie praised Jackson’s dynamic playmaking abilities and described his capacity to make miraculous plays look routine.
Meanwhile, on November 28, the Sunday referee explained the no-call in the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers. During the Chargers’ opening drive, Ravens defender Geno Stone’s hit on quarterback Justin Herbert, who was scrambling out of bounds, sparked brief extracurriculars.
