Details emerge about alleged incident between Von Miller, girlfriend

Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller is facing legal issues as a warrant has been issued for his arrest in connection with an alleged physical altercation with his girlfriend. The incident reportedly took place at Miller’s apartment in the Dallas area, leading to a felony charge of assaulting a pregnant person.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the altercation began when Miller and his girlfriend had a disagreement over weekend travel plans. The situation escalated when the woman slammed a door in frustration, visibly angering Miller. The woman informed the police that Miller demanded her departure, and though she agreed, she wanted to retrieve her laptop and cell phones first.

Allegedly, Miller became violent during this process. The woman claims Miller repeatedly shoved her while she gathered her belongings, despite her pleading that she was pregnant. She states that Miller pushed her into a chair, placed his hand against her neck for 3 to 5 seconds, and then took her laptop, throwing it to the ground and stomping on it. Miller allegedly grabbed her hair, causing her to fall to the ground, and then placed both hands on her neck, causing pain. The victim, who is six weeks pregnant, did not report difficulty breathing during the neck incidents.

Miller left the scene before the police arrived. The responding officers observed visible injuries on the victim, including abrasions on her left hand, bruising on her neck, abdomen, and left bicep. Fortunately, she did not require hospitalization, receiving on-site treatment.

This incident comes as Miller, 34, was on bye week with the Buffalo Bills. He has been a rotational player for the team, accumulating two tackles in the current season. Notably, this is not the first legal issue Miller has faced, adding a layer of complexity to the situation. The legal process will unfold as authorities seek to address the allegations against the NFL player.
