Breaking News: LA Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed another key Rams player suffer injury

Los Angeles Rams’ rising star rookie, Puka Nacua, faced a setback in the team’s recent victory over the Cleveland Browns, as confirmed by head coach Sean McVay. The dynamic wideout suffered an AC sprain during the game, prompting a temporary departure in the first half. Despite the injury, Nacua demonstrated resilience by returning to the field, contributing significantly with several notable plays, albeit marred by penalties that nullified some of his achievements.

During the contest, Nacua showcased his prowess with four catches, accumulating an impressive 105 yards and securing a touchdown. This stellar performance allowed him to surpass the 1,000-yard mark, highlighting his remarkable inaugural season in professional football. McVay, while acknowledging the injury, refrained from ruling out Nacua for the upcoming clash against the Ravens, expressing confidence in the rookie’s potential availability for the crucial game in Baltimore.

The injury saga unfolded in the first half at SoFi Stadium, where Nacua, having already surpassed the 1,000-yard milestone, left the field with an upper-body injury after a contested catch. Assisted by the training staff, he made his way to the locker room, visibly nursing his shoulder. Despite initial concerns, Nacua exhibited determination by returning to the game in the second half, becoming a focal point for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Earlier in the week, on December 2, the Browns made strategic moves, officially elevating former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco from their practice squad. This procedural maneuver aimed to prepare Flacco for his debut with the team against the Los Angeles Rams. At 38 years old, Flacco brings experience, having thrown five touchdowns and three interceptions in parts of five games for the New York Jets in the previous season. Alongside Flacco, the Browns also elevated cornerback A.J. Green III to the active roster in anticipation of their challenging matchup.
