The Houston Texans have made significant roster moves, with rookie receiver Tank Dell being placed on injured reserve due to a left fibula fracture that required surgery. Unfortunately, this means Dell will miss the remainder of the season. Despite the setback, Dell had a noteworthy rookie campaign, accumulating 47 receptions for 709 yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, he contributed 11 carries for 51 rushing yards.
In another move, the Texans announced the waiver of veteran defensive lineman Kerry Hyder from the 53-player roster. Hyder had been promoted from the practice squad on November 23 but saw action in only two games, recording two tackles during his brief stint.
To address these changes, the team signed receiver Davion Davis to their practice squad. Simultaneously, receiver Jared Wayne has been placed on the practice squad injured list.
These transactions underscore the dynamic nature of NFL rosters, with injuries and performance factors prompting teams to make strategic adjustments as they navigate the challenges of the season.
