Leeds star has finally made decision regarding his future at club

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, has a number of decisions to make as the January transfer window approaches.

The German can perhaps do without the summer turmoil, but a squad refresh could be just what the club needs to give them the incentive to really go after the Championship’s top two.

Apart from the occasional hiccup, Farke’s all-whites have been playing some excellent football.

Unlike the 2022/23 season, when nothing appeared to gel under a series of managers, Farke has effectively worked with what he has, fostering a genuine sense of unity amongst the group as well as the hunger that competition for places provides.

The manager’s prior experience, particularly in guiding Norwich to promotion from the Championship, bodes well for his team in the upcoming stages of the season. This expertise could potentially propel Leeds into contention for automatic promotion. Comparatively, the managerial counterparts, Kieran McKenna and Enzo Maresca, might face challenges due to their lack of experience as primary managers. Handling pressure situations effectively will be crucial for them to prove their capabilities.

However, Leeds might experience a setback with the potential departure of Junior Firpo. According to Estadio Deportivo, the 27-year-old is reportedly seeking a move back to Real Betis in the January transfer window. If this move materializes, it could alleviate one concern for the manager, providing some relief amidst other challenges.
