Good News: Atlanta Falcons confirm to welcome another star

Ryan Nielsen’s defensive strategy faced an immediate setback, with the Falcons conceding 31 points to Josh Dobbs, who had minimal time with the Vikings. The following week saw the defense yielding 25 points to the Cardinals in Kyler Murray’s return after an ACL tear. However, the unit recovered admirably against weaker opponents, limiting the Saints to 15 points and the Jets to a mere 8 points. Now, a boost is on the horizon with the return of a once-promising member of the defensive line.

The team officially declared the designation of LaCale London to return from injured reserve. London had been sidelined around the same time as Grady Jarrett’s season-ending injury announcement. With his 21-day window open, the decision looms to either activate him to the 53-man roster or consign him to season-ending injured reserve within the three weeks.

The colossal defensive tackle transitioned from the practice squad to the active roster a week before landing on injured reserve. His previous three-game elevation, facing the Commanders, Buccaneers, and Titans, showcased his impact with a fumble recovery and four tackles. As the Falcons prepare to face the Buccaneers this Sunday, the potential return of LaCale London could significantly fortify Atlanta’s defensive front. The verdict on his activation or otherwise will be revealed shortly.
