Earlier this week, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed that punter Ryan Stonehouse would be sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. Subsequently, the team made adjustments to the roster on Friday in response to this news.
Stonehouse was officially placed on injured reserve. Additionally, linebacker Joe Jones found himself on the list due to a finger injury.
To fill the gap, the Titans signed Ty Zentner onto the practice squad earlier in the week. Zentner is anticipated to step into the role of punter and holder, taking over for Stonehouse, who sustained his injury after Colts cornerback Tony Brown made contact with him before he could execute a punt during last Sunday’s game.
The team did not announce any corresponding moves, leaving the Titans with two vacant spots on the roster as they prepare to face the Dolphins.
