During the 2023 campaign, Lewis stood out with exceptional performance, making 70 catches for 877 yards and contributing 7 touchdowns. His remarkable numbers placed him seventh in receiving yards within the Sun Belt conference and fifth in total catches. Ultimately, he chose to join the Auburn Tigers, marking the first official addition to the team from the transfer portal.
