Lions’ Aidan Hutchinson Summarizes Offsides Penalty vs. Bears With 4 Words

The Detroit Lions’ head coach, Dan Campbell, expressed his displeasure with his team’s lack of discipline in the 28-13 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 14. Campbell’s frustration included an offsides penalty that directly led to a Bears touchdown in the second half.

No one was angrier about the penalty than defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who was called for offsides.

Hutchinson expressed his displeasure to the media after the game with four words.

“I’m disgusted with it,” Hutchinson stated regarding his offsides penalty.

With the game tied 13-13 at the end of the third quarter, the foul happened on fourth-and-13. The Bears’ offense took the field at the 38-yard line against the Lions.

Because Hutchinson jumped offsides, Bears quarterback Justin Fields was able to take a free shot downfield, resulting in a 38-yard touchdown.
