Real Madrid star reacts with three stunning words after Sunderland beat Leeds United

Sunderland defeated Leeds United 1-0 in the Championship on Tuesday night.

Jobe Bellingham scored the game-winning goal for the Black Cats over the Elland Road side. The 18-year-old scored the game’s only goal in the 78th minute at the Stadium of Light.

Jude Bellingham took to X after the game to express his support for his brother.

Sunderland’s jubilant full-time graphic was shared by the Real Madrid and England star. He also included the message “let him cook”. Sunderland scored in the 78th minute when Bellingham reacted quickly to head a bouncing ball past Illan Meslier from four yards out.

After Leeds defender Pascal Struijk failed to clear the ball effectively, Alex Pritchard was on hand to head it back into the danger zone.

Sunderland have a top prospect in Jobe Bellingham

Sunderland bought Bellingham for a reputed £3 million this summer, and he’s performed admirably for the Wearside club.

He turned 18 in September, yet he’s already a regular starter for the Black Cats, having made 20 starts for them.

Sunderland’s Bellingham has also supplied four goals and an assist from midfield.

The Championship is a challenging league, and his ability to shine in it at the age of 18 demonstrates his brilliance.

Bellingham will almost certainly be playing in the Premier League before long. Sunderland has re-entered the playoffs, meaning they have a good chance of winning the league this season.

Even if it doesn’t happen, you’d hope that a top-flight club will eventually take a chance on him.

It’s also encouraging to see Jude following his brother’s successes and complimenting him on social media so soon after starting full-time.

As much as you want to be cautious about a player’s future and trajectory, it would be exciting to see both of them play for England in the future.
