Tyler Fromm, a former Auburn tight end, has decided on his future school after declaring his intention to transfer on December 6.
After five seasons on The Plains, Fromm will transfer to Georgia Southern for his final year of eligibility, he revealed on Wednesday afternoon via Instagram. “Bringing it home,” Fromm captioned the photo.
Fromm transferred to Auburn from Warner Robbins, Ga., in 2019 and redshirted his first year before playing in one game in 2020. Fromm went on to play in all 37 games for the Tigers over the next three seasons.
Fromm caught 14 passes for 165 yards and one touchdown while at Auburn.
Fromm’s lone score occurred against LSU in 2021, when he was the recipient of a remarkable ball by former quarterback Bo Nix, who connected with Fromm after avoiding several sacks.
With the news on Wednesday, Fromm, the younger brother of former Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, will join a Georgia Southern team that finished 6-6 in 2023.
