Lions star send brutal message to Cam Newton after QB comments

Despite narrowly winning their previous encounter against Chicago, this time, the Lions suffered a significant 28-13 loss. The Bears displayed greater aggression and physicality on the field, particularly evident in their defense’s success in pressuring Jared Goff, resulting in two interceptions.

Jared Goff’s performance discrepancy between home and away games is striking, prompting discussions about his capabilities as a game manager versus a game changer, an aspect Cam Newton recently highlighted.

Newton’s comments were likely unpopular in the Lions locker room, since C.J. Gardner-Johnson defended Goff on his personal Twitter account.

Gardner-Johnson doesn’t mince words in his response to Newton’s remarks, and it appears that the latter will have to respond at some point given the amount of attention he’s receiving.

Newton has never been one to hide his emotions, and he has been as brutally honest about things as anyone in the game.

For the time being, Goff and the Detroit Lions must focus on the Denver Broncos in Week 15.

A win over a hot Broncos team would go a long way toward putting an end to any Goff defamation.
