Higbee Tyler Tutu Atwell Returns To Los Angeles Rams Practice As A Complete Participant
Prior to practice on Thursday, the status of two Los Angeles Rams pass catchers was upgraded.
As the Los Angeles Rams approach their Sunday home game against the Washington Commanders, they received some encouraging injury news on Thursday.

On Thursday, the status of two pass catchers improved: receiver Tutu Atwell returned to practice, while tight end Tyler Higbee was a full participant.

Due to a neck issue, Higbee was unable to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday; nevertheless, the seasoned tight end has been hurting for a few weeks. According to Rams coach Sean McVay, Higbee was “fighting through a lot of stuff” at the beginning of the month, and he particularly mentioned a problem with his right thumb. Higbee, who turns 31 on New Year’s Day, appears to be headed in the right path for the Commanders game, though.

“Hopefully, Tyler will return this week. That is what is anticipated. That’s the intention, McVay stated. “We still have Brycen Hopkins, who has also done a great deal of good for us. We’ll approach things day by day. We’ve only just received all of this information during the past few hours, so you should start organizing your schedule appropriately.

Higbee has 34 receptions for 367 yards and two touchdowns this season after signing an extension with the Rams earlier in the season.

Atwell, meanwhile, is struggling to recover from a concussion he sustained early in the Ravens game. As the third option behind Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, the former Louisville second-round pick is enjoying something of a breakthrough season, hauling in 37 receptions for 476 yards and three touchdowns.
