However, the intriguing twist in the story lies in Williams’ choice of attire during his visit to Auburn. Despite the Tigers’ efforts to win him over, Williams was spotted wearing an Alabama sweatshirt while exploring ‘The Atelier,’ a vintage/designer clothing/thrift store near downtown Auburn.
Williams, a native of Saraland, Alabama, had committed to the Crimson Tide more than a year ago in October 2022. Despite the long-standing allegiance to Alabama, Auburn was granted the opportunity to make their case.
