The Rams anticipate that top cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon will suit up against the Saints. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon is having a breakout year for the Los Angeles Rams and is on track for a huge payout in 2024, but injuries have always been an issue for the former 49er and Steeler. Witherspoon suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders, but according to team writer Stu Jackson, L.A.’s best cornerback will be available for Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Sean McVay said DB Ahkello Witherspoon should be good to go for Thursday night vs. Saints after sustaining a groin injury late in yesterday's game vs. Commanders.

Given how teammates like Derion Kendrick have performed this season, having Witherspoon available in a crucial game for the wild card battle is critical.
This season, Witherspoon has three interceptions and 13 pass defenses, including two more against Washington in Week 15. He was also on the verge of his fourth interception. Witherspoon was hired to a one-year deal as a stopgap cornerback, but he’s worked his way into a much more long-term role if the Rams can pay him.
Tutu Atwell, a receiver who missed Sunday’s game but has cleared concussion protocol, is another injured player who is anticipated to be ready.
Sean McVay also says WR Tutu Atwell has cleared the concussion protocol and will play Thursday.
DB Tre Tomlinson has a thigh injury but no clarity beyond that as far as his status for Thursday.
