Done: Just In Oklahoma Sooners confirmed the signing of another top super star

Joshua Aisosa, a three-star offensive lineman, celebrated a significant moment in his football journey by signing his National Letter of Intent with the University of Oklahoma during the early signing day period. The ceremony took place at Edmond Santa Fe, where Aisosa expressed gratitude to God, his parents, and his high school coaches who played crucial roles in his development.

Aisosa’s path to football success is notable, considering he initially focused on basketball until his sophomore season. Originally from Texas, he moved to Oklahoma for his freshman year of high school. During the pandemic, Aisosa gained weight and transitioned to football, ultimately emerging as one of the top offensive linemen in the state. In the recently concluded season, he earned the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year title, contributing to Edmond Santa Fe’s 7-4 record and a Class 6A-I state quarterfinal appearance.

Ranked as the No. 94 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 class by 247Sports and the No. 15 player in the state of Oklahoma, Aisosa’s commitment to the Sooners marks a significant achievement in his budding football career. Head coach Brent Venables praised Aisosa’s qualities, highlighting his size, athletic ability, agility, and dedicated work ethic.

Aisosa plans to enroll early and join the Sooners on campus in January, emphasizing the valuable experience he hopes to gain by working with the older players. Expressing his excitement and passion for Oklahoma, Aisosa noted the unique treatment he received from the coaching staff, particularly Coach Bill Bedenbaugh, making the decision to join the Sooners feel like joining a family. He believes the opportunity at Oklahoma is unparalleled, and he is eager to contribute to the team’s success.
