It seems that Auburn football is continuing to strengthen its 2024 recruiting class with the addition of three-star offensive tackle Favour Edwin. Standing at an impressive 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 300 pounds, Edwin has garnered attention and offers from prominent programs, including Clemson, Alabama, and Florida, in addition to Auburn.
Hailing from McDonough, Georgia, and playing for Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, a top private school program in the state, Edwin brings considerable talent to the offensive line. He becomes one of the two offensive line commitments for Auburn in the 2024 class, joining DeAndre Carter from Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California.
Auburn seems to be addressing its offensive line needs with this recruiting class, having brought in five offensive line recruits in the 2023 class, including freshman Connor Lew, who has already seen significant playing time.
The report suggests that if Hugh Freeze and the coaching staff can secure a total of four or more offensive line recruits for the 2024 class, it could potentially alleviate recent offensive line issues for the Tigers. Favour Edwin’s commitment is viewed as a significant step in that direction, indicating the program’s commitment to bolstering its offensive line for the future.
