It seems like KJ Bolden, a five-star safety, has officially signed with the Georgia Bulldogs, making him the 28th member of the team’s 2024 class. This move not only secured Georgia’s position as the No. 1 recruiting class in the country but also added a promising playmaker to their secondary.
Bolden, who had initially committed to Florida State, surprised many by flipping his commitment to Georgia. He cited Coach Kirby Smart’s unique approach and ability to build relationships as key factors in his decision. According to Bolden, Coach Kirby has been recruiting him since the ninth grade, showcasing a long-term commitment to bringing him to Georgia.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety is ranked as the nation’s No. 1 safety, No. 15 overall recruit, and the No. 3 prospect in Georgia. Despite initially committing to Florida State, Georgia continued its recruitment efforts, ultimately winning the battle for Bolden’s commitment.
Bolden’s decision is considered a significant victory for Georgia’s recruiting efforts, and he joins other defensive backs like Demello Jones, Ellis Robinson IV, and Ondre Evans in the incoming 2024 class.
