As the Las Vegas Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day in Arrowhead Stadium, three key players will be on record-breaking watch.
Firstly, running back Josh Jacobs has the opportunity to make history by becoming one of only six running backs in NFL history to record 7+ rushing touchdowns in each of their first five seasons. If he scores one rushing touchdown, Jacobs would also be the first player in Raiders history to achieve this feat and secure his fifth consecutive season with 7+ rushing touchdowns. This would mark the second-longest active streak in the NFL and tie for the seventh-longest streak in NFL history.
Next up is Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams. With 32 receiving yards, Adams could achieve his fifth career season with 1,000+ receiving yards. Additionally, he would secure his fourth consecutive season with 1,000+ receiving yards, tying for the second-longest active streak in the NFL. Adams would join a select group of three players in the league to record 1,000+ receiving yards in the last four seasons (2020-2023).
Lastly, defensive end Maxx Crosby is poised to make an impact on Christmas Day against the Chiefs. With one tackle for loss, Crosby could secure his second consecutive season with 20+ tackles for loss, placing him among the rare few in the NFL since 2000 to achieve this milestone. If he records five tackles against the Chiefs, Crosby will notch his second straight season with 85+ tackles, making him one of only two defensive linemen since 2000 to achieve this feat.
These three Raiders players will be closely watched as they aim to make significant contributions and potentially break records in the Christmas Day matchup against the Chiefs. The Raiders, currently with a 6-8 record, will be looking to end their six-game losing streak against the Chiefs and secure a crucial win in the AFC West rivalry.
