Georgia Bulldogs Lose WR De’Nylon Morrissette To Transfer Portal
Morrissette is the 19th Bulldog to go through the transfer portal. He didn’t play at all and is likely leaving to secure more playing time. Morrissette stated this in a statement.
“First I would like to Thank God for making everything Possible and for Life.
I would like to Thank Coach Kirby smart and the entire UGA Organization, especially the awesome fanbase, my coaches and Brothers. I’m very proud to be apart of a culture of excellence and pride. I cherish the moments at UGA, but talking with my family at this time I would like to announce I will be entering the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility remaining. I’m grateful for my time here, the support, and love.”
Concern For Georgia?
Losing 19 players isn’t ideal, especially because several of them were expected to be the future at specific positions. Kirby Smart, on the other hand, demonstrated last week that he is still one of the finest recruiters in college football. There is a lot of talent coming into the program, and many of the losses aren’t that significant. This is the new era of college football, and player movement, particularly among top-tier prospects, is expected to increase.
Can the Georgia Bulldogs make a comeback in 2024? They will be determined to reclaim the SEC and return to the College Football Playoff.
